This past weekend my friend Marilyn and I went to the NJPAC theatre in Newark, NJ. Both Marilyn and I have never attended a show here before. When we stepped on to the grounds of the theatre, I must say that we both had the same feeling that we weren't in Newark. Its a very beautiful space.
We saw a performance of the Alvin Ailey Dancers. Truly an amazing experiences. Not only do these dancers possess the technique of both modern and classic dance, but the sheer athleticism of each dancer and their ability to control their body was unbelievable!
Thank you Marilyn for attending the performance and spending the afternoon at the theatre with me. Next time we'll have to bring our boys with us. hee hee

Alvin Ailey?!?! I cannot begin to express the level of jealousy that I am feeling right now. That must have been incredible! LUCKY!!!
I would LOVE to see them. I can't even begin to imagine how fantastic that must have been! How fun for you!
