Our little Gracie has been cooped up inside the house for just about every day since she was born. With the exception of the few visits to see her doctor, and two trips to Grandma & Grandpa's house, she's has only seen the walls of our home to create the world she's growing to know. So needless to say, cabin fever was bound to set in as some point. So on the first wonderfully warm day of the year, we broke loose and came up with a wonderful idea. Grace was super happy to hear that we were going to go for our first walk outside together. After all, it would be such a pity to let a 76 degree day wither away without our enjoying it. So we grabbed our gear, diaper bag, with camera of course, for Mommy, and pacifier for Gracie. And we were a-okay for take-off.We walked up the street and to the park which is several blocks away from home. Gracie loved showing off her killer wheels. Mommy laughed at Gracie's "tank" of a stroller. We enjoyed our walk so much, that when Gracie asked to take down the big ol' "protection shield," Mommy was more than happy to allow her little girl to bask in the glorious spring-like day. (Over protective Mom here. Every little bump of the sidewalk I was checking in on her to make sure she was okay. Silly me. As if I were the first person EVER to take a baby for a walk in a stroller. hee hee)We loved our walk outside so much, and can't wait for more beautiful days ahead to spend in the great outdoors. This Oregonian Mommy will surely see to it that her little Gracie finds a love for the nature that surrounds her every day.
